You only need to dial the 0091-20-20 prefix followed by the phone number starting from the country code or the Speed Dial number:

If you cannot connect to the 0091-20 prefixes or calling from a fixed phone in Area B*, dial the Free Dial access number. Rates will be the same as 0091-20 Area A, with domestic charges included.

MOBILE, FIXED OR PUBLIC PHONES
■ FREE LESS
If you place your call dialing a Free Less access number, your local carrier will bill you separately for a local/domestic call, from the time of connection to the access number until you hang up the phone. Use the Free Less access number in your area, or use 050-6868-7802 from any other location in Japan. Domestic carriers generally offer fixed rates to 050 numbers, regardless of distance or time of day. For specific rates to a 050 number or other Free Less access numbers from your phone, please contact your domestic carrier.

Softbank and Y!mobile (formerly EMOBILE/WILLCOM) have excluded our Free Less numbers from their unlimited calling plans. You will be charged for domestic calls even if you have subscribed to one such plan.

All our Free Less numbers are included on Docomo's and au's unlimited calling plans.
Please note that whether any mobile operator chooses to do this or not is beyond our control.

One Touch Dialing
Register the phone numbers from where you will be placing your calls to skip steps 2 and 3 (guidance language selection and access code dialing). To register, access your account (online or by phone) or contact customer service. If you are using the phone you want to register: just press ＊＊＊# after dialing the access code instead of only #.

Speed Dial
Store up to 99 numbers on your account to shorten the dialing process to one or two digits. To register, access your account (online or by phone) or contact customer service. To call using Speed Dial just input the Speed Dial number instead of the destination number.

Domestic Calls
With the Brastel Card you can also place domestic calls in Japan at 24-hour flat rates. The dialing procedure is the same as calling internationally: for your destination, enter Japan's country code (81), followed by the phone number without the first "0" (or the Speed Dial number).

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Brastel is not responsible for lost or stolen access codes.

  • Do not insert the Brastel Card into public phones. Use coins or local telephone cards.

  • The Brastel Card cannot be used for faxing.

  • If accessible, you will be charged international direct dialing rates for calls to toll-free numbers overseas.

  • Call times are charged in six-second increments.

  • If using pulse dial phones, switch to tone before language selection. Most phones switch to tone by pressing the asterisk (＊) before choosing the language.

  • The access code will be deleted (card will expire) if there is no record of usage or payment in the card for over a year.

  • Brastel's 0091-20 prefixes may not be accessible from phone lines/terminals with transmission restrictions.

  • Brastel may mail information about its services to registered customers.

  • Placing calls through prefixes/access phone numbers not published in the website may result in different calling rates.

  • The use of service may be suspended if there are law violations, illegal or inappropriate behavior when using the services.
