Detach the desired amount of coupons and hand them at the cash register.
To avoid making payments by mistake, please make sure the card No. on the coupons matches the card No. you wish to recharge, and hand to the clerk only the coupons you wish to pay for.
Show the back of your card at the cash register and say that you want to make a Smart Pit payment. The payment amount is initially set at ¥2,000. It can be changed to ¥5,000 or ¥10,000 at My Account.
Before making your first Smart Pit payment, or if you have not used your card for a three-month period, please activate your card's Smart Pit payment system.
If you cannot dial 0091-20 prefixes from your phone, please access My Account from your PC and go to Payment settings >> Smart Pit.

The receipt confirmation screen will be displayed. Confirm the content on the screen and press the "次へ" (Next) button.

The Smart Pit Payment information will be displayed. Check the content on the screen and press the "確認" (Confirm) button.

Enter the Smart Pit number (13 digits) printed on the back of your Brastel Card and press the "OK" button.

Select "Brastel Co., Ltd." and press the "OK" button.

Check the displayed billing information and press "OK" to print out the slip.

My Payment
My Payment is a service that lets you make payments in selected stores using your smartphone. Simply sign in to My Account from your smartphone, select the payment amount, and show the barcode displayed on your phone at the cash register.
Have the cashier scan the barcode to make the payment.
We accept:
Auto-recharge (for VISA and Mastercard cards issued in Japan only)
Set the auto-recharge option when you make a credit card payment and your account will be automatically recharged when its balance falls below a preselected amount.
On our website to secure your online credit card payment we are using a 3D Secure system, recommended by VISA and Mastercard.
Conventional online card payment can be processed by entering information printed on the card such as "credit card number" and "expiry date". However, for use of 3D Secure enabled cards, a "password only known by yourself" will be required for the authentication in addition to the information on the card. If you do not have a 3D Secure enabled card, you won't be able to complete the payment on our website, therefore we recommend you register the necessary information (password) on your card issuer's website in advance.
For security reasons, credit card and PayPal recharges have a daily limit of ¥10,000, and a weekly limit of ¥20,000. This limit can be increased upon request and verification. To increase the limit, please contact customer service.
Recharges made by VISA and MasterCard cards issued in Japan cannot be used for international recharges, credit transfers, SMS purchases, or any other service other than placing calls. If you intend to use any of those services, please pay by PayPal.
Automatic recharges are triggered when your Brastel account balance falls below the preselected amount after placing a call. Other operations will not trigger the recharge.
The automatic recharge option will be deactivated if the credit card has expired or if the payment is turned down by the credit card company.

Payments are not refundable.
Most (re)charges will take approximately five minutes to process; however, some may take longer depending on network conditions.
Brastel Card's access codes expire if there is no record of usage or payment for more than one year. Remaining credits cannot be refunded or transferred after expiration.
Convenience stores are not responsible for any inquiries, financial liabilities or any other matter related to Brastel and/or its services.
Coupon and Smart Pit payments can only be made in cash. E-money payments are not accepted, except when Smart Pit payments are made in FamilyMart with FamiPay.
Important Notes about My Payment
The following smartphone device environment is recommended for usage: OS: for iOS - 10.0 or later, for Android - 5.0 or later Browser: the latest version of Safari/Google Chrome Screen size: 4.0 inches to 6.7 inches N.B. My Payment barcode may not be displayed on some smartphone models such as iPads and tablets.
Please note that the barcode scanner in the store may not read the barcode properly if the screen has scratches on it or has a protection film. The barcode scanner may also not work properly if the screen is not bright enough. Please increase the brightness of the screen before showing it to the cashier.
The barcode expires after midnight. Please do not print or save the barcode screen for later use.
Do not reuse the barcode for multiple payments. If you reuse the barcode, the convenience store might accept your payments, but only the first one will be reflected in your balance. Always tap the "show barcode" button on this page right before making a payment.
Convenience stores do not issue receipts. The payment details are temporarily displayed on your smartphone right after the payment. After that, you can view the payment details from the Payment history of My Account within 90 days. The electronic receipt will only be displayed after Brastel receives the payment confirmation from the bank (It takes about 6-7 days after the payment is complete).
